Secluded And Diluted

Rivers part with apparent reason
abandoning their arms and legs
With hopes of embracing a new body
one better than the last
Forgetting their past
but carrying the same blood
I cannot do the same
my body does not flow
Hindered by my own restrictions
I reside
In this permanent state
of stagnation
