Secret Garden

My heart is a secret garden and the walls are very high,
But somehow you managed to climb over
and cause the flowers to grow as you walked by.
The lullaby lilies fell sound asleep,
with the comforting thought of your presence
to resist my casual weep.
The roses thorns softened at your gentle touch,
and their pigment reddening to your clutch.
But one day you crushed the stems of what I took so long to grow,
what i nourished was all gone and left to the crows"
