That girl with the smile? A mask she always wears
To hide what no one know. Because no one really cares
Nothing she can do, can take the pain away
Because no one that she loves, has ever thought to stay

Up and down her arms, run scars to mask the pain
No one ever sees them, or the blood flowing from her veins
So easy to be hidden, with a shirt with long sleeves
And all alone at night, is when she cuts and grieves

No one knows her secrets, the ones hidden in her heart
No one knows her pain, that's tearing her apart
Look closely, See her eyes, see how sorrow fills her soul
Putting on an act, to seem like she is whole

And soon she'll be forgotten, by everyone she knew
Resting up in heaven, with angel wings she flew
Whole and happy now, she left her living hell
She is gone and is free, with her story now to tell

And now she is gone, The pain has left her soul
In heaven she rests, where she was made whole
