Secrets

Delicate patterns and swirly ribbons
Tightly wrapped
Filling the room
Boxes of all shapes and sizes
Carefully covered
Old and new
Stacked to the ceiling
A door opens
knocking one down
Then another
Tumbling
Falling
Eyes wide open
Standing alone
Amidst the truth.
