Seed to Soul

I took my dandelion heart,
And blew the little pieces of my past
Away with the crisp breeze.
It was free, but left barren.

Until a new seed was planted.
It sprouted for your sunshine smile,
And bloomed beneath your rainy eyes.
It wrapped around my ribs, and up

Spreading, through my spine and
Clearing my salty veins like
An ocean of ambrosia.
Seeping into my lungs;
Like a cobalt fire.

Filling me with teal lakes, violet
Mountains, amber flowers, rose winds,
And slippery silver skies;
Steadily painting me
With carefully chaotic colors, until
The moment I looked into the galaxy that is your eyes,
And imploded into stars and became
Merely soul.
