Seeing in the Dark

There, in the dark
All alone I walk
With not a soul to talk
Except for the dogs to bark

The same places where every day I go
Seem like places I do not know
So silent, so charming
With moonlight on the face beaming

The moonlight, silvery bright
Dances like a maiden in white
With darkness, her mighty knight
So beautiful to see, this wonderful sight

The sweet fragrance, the winds bring
When flowers are fully bloomed because of spring
So gracefully the lights from the lamps fall
And lit up dimly the street and the wall

The mind in soothing freshness stays so still
While the soul drenches in the deep tranquil
Yet without you, the heart lets out a heavy sigh
And the senses dip in sorrow, but I don’t know why!
