Seeing What It Seems

Returning home with no dinner
yet two twins in a peapod
he told him, his mind was thinner
too big, too small, too broad

Unadulterated ego he had
the love for himself was close
but his paradigm made it far away from his nose
this man is to go bad

Nor tinted mind, nor color should help our choice
love burrows in us all
we have minds, let's make them our voice
creative as a child, but never too small

Through life we are always giving
but a lot of us aren't actually living
