Self-discovery

By

Quarantine.
The world is in silent chaos
The streets are desolate, store shelves bare
Yet Mother Earth thrives
Quarantine.
People are isolated, in mind and place
Distance becomes a familiar face
Despair depletes the human race
Quarantine.
I am a Native American, painting a totem pole
I am an ant, carrying pressures five thousand times my weight
I am a tumbleweed, lost but carefree
Quarantine.
When the world lost its focus
and I discovered me.
