Self-Injury

Alone, falling into that hole that is inescapable-
Feeling the loneliness that it gives you.
Everyone had left you;
Deserted, scared and unwanted,
You know they aren't coming back.
Why let the loneliness linger inside you?
Your purpose in life is gone with everyone else.
Grabbing your razorblade,
Slitting the veins on your wrists that keep you alive.
Feeling the red stickiness
Glide down,
Dripping off your fingertips.
Seeing your life flash before your eyes.
Seeing how it all went wrong.
Seeing what made you do things
That led you to where you are now.
Now closing your eyes,
breathing your last breath.
You leave this world.
Full of regrets.
