Senseless Love

I am in love with the unattainable.
I wish I was just plain and old.
But sometimes it's good for your passions to unfold.
It was once foretold that two binding souls make a whole.
So therefore you can never be alone.

Even though I am in love with one,
I wonder why I've never met her.
Her smile can light up the empty space in my brain,
But why am I in love if I can't attain?

I love the way we love each other.
She sticks out above all others.
Yet another minute goes by without her.
When can we meet each other?

Will we ever come together,
Build a bond that's better.
Never ever will it grow.
You never know.

The way she entangles me,
I try to break free.
But she is my thing
And I hers, but why her?
Why us? Why lust?

I guess it's just premature love.
