Shades of Fuchsia

The color, the flora
blends hues
from adolescence,
onslaught of hormones, slick
slipping glistening fuchsia,
fuchsia makes a swishing sound
sound of smacking lips,
a deep wet pink
bleeding into magenta
fuh- you-shaaa, more than a suggestion
lolls around the tongue, the teeth
fuh- you- shaaa c'mere stay awhile
delicious to contemplate
a little bit risky
a little bit forbidden
fuchsia, of spring
catapulting into summer.
