As we seek the light of day
A follower seeks to prey
Dark and grey it never halts
It carries all your painful faults
You cast it and from it you can't hide
You can't live with or without it by your side
Was it the chicken or the egg?
Was it you or the darkness extending from your leg?
The mystery is vast
You just might be the one that is cast.
