Always thought you were my shadow,
It's my darkest hour, I guess.
As I find myself in the crypt,
There is a beam of light not as swift.
Is it a crypt or am I lying under the stars!
You are shining up there like a tiffany on a mars.
To discover myself, I will take time a little slow,
In the meantime, I will look for you in the afterglow.
I would prefer twilight over sunshine,
Leastways you will still be mine.
You took your angle in the ecstasy,
Left me with my howling demons so easy.
You were my luminescent,
Without you, I will be lost scent.
If I hit the light again, I will be offset
Children down the street haven't seen the real me yet.
I assumed you were my shadow indeed,
Maybe I was yours instead
Cause, Shadows cannot survive by themselves,
They feed on light, shape and just delves.
Maybe when the Gray turn blue
I will find my shadow without you.
Even with the dusk, I will only mingle,
For the dawn to hit me on again with jingle.
