Shadow Of The Scorpion

through the woven webs
of fates design
eyes of amber
enchant me so
my love awaits
perched atop
a skeletal throne
through the trenches
of lost memories
she comes as a specter
through the fog
her words dazzle my nerves
she glides on the wind
with the greatest of ease
a terrifying creature
of such elegance
should want for nothing
from this trepid mortal stare
i am lost in her touch
beauty bewitching
a voice that
haunts my heart
a thrall to her whim
every ravishing desire
draws me further in
unto her dark embrace
emersed beneath
her shadow
i defy oblivion
my stature submits
for the pale scorpion
in the mist
