Shakespeare’s Plan

Seldom, as in never, should one predict a well written tale.
Unexpected becomes ironic, and change becomes stability and reason.
Reeling inside while the portrayal of characters will not deviate, as to not disrupt the show.
Vicarious roles born and retired without notice, giving way to
Improvisation so seamless that the audience is unaware and
Virtually unfazed until the truth is revealed ever so subtly,
Even the writer is deceived.
Transitioning through the scenes, acts, and intermission in
Hopes of a finale exceeding the highest of expectations, and
Exciting those with none.
Never again will this be told, on this day, at this time, as
The variables are changed with each performance.
Heartfelt laughs with tragic twists are coupled, providing
Realistic parallels to the waiting universe.
Internal desire to know the story’s end will forever fill the seats
Vying for the chance of a different outcome
Expecting each to be better, until the last curtain drops.
