Shattered glass

It stands , perfect
Or so everyone thinks
Inside fragile pieces are breaking
No one sees through
They only see what they want to see
The glass, they say is sturdy, strong, reflective
But behind every mirror is a deep hole
Buried with secrets, dreams
All that might never come true
The mirror framed with what little hopes are left
That keeps it steady, because without it
It is nothing, except for shattered glass
