She

They say, She's a ticking time bomb
Waiting for the time to run out.
I say, She's a trapped soul
trying to find her way out.

They say, She acts wild
She has no self control.
I say, She's being herself
Why should you want more?

She wants to loosen the chains
And just be free.

They say, She should rise above
Don't lower her standards.
I say, Why should it matter?
I love you should be the answer.

She wants to please everyone
But this awful hard.
She puts on a smile for the public
But really she's just a little girl.

Because I am she.
And she is me.
