She Fell Asleep On A Pink Cloud

Walk beside me and be my friend
The dreams of a Lifetime said
Give me back my crayons
Said the now grown up child
The purpose of Life
Has always been to create
Not pay bills and die
Ask no more questions,
Not even where’s the faith?
When one set of hazel green eyes protrudes
Off a day dreamer and night thinker’s face
Concentrating black pupils expand her into
The rays of Sunlight in which hit the treetops
A great ball of Heavenly fire slides under the horizon
Taking the last pieces of Sunlight with it,
But she stays and lingers in the warmth
Walking on a new form of Sunshine
For the first time in ages
Some how, some way, some day
She’ll see the Sun rise again
Maybe in her dreams or maybe in reality…
