She Fell Asleep

When I was young, my sister died.
Our family mourned, my parents lied.
"She fell asleep". Is what they said.
But we all knew, that she was dead.
An accident and she was gone.
A family torn, that must move on.
Angels wings, earned much too fast.
A families tears, forever last.
A better place is where she went.
Heaven born and heaven sent.
