She No Longer

By Ladybug    Ladybug

She no longer walks with a spring in her step
She no longer walks on her own
She no longer skips
She no longer laughs
But they know that she can’t be alone

She no longer talks to friends that she sees
She no longer gives out her address
She no longer sings
She no longer trusts
After all, wouldn’t that be a mess?

She no longer ignores the locks on her doors
She no longer calls her friends
She no longer talks
She no longer cries
Don’t they know that soon it will end?

She no longer thinks about what he did
She no longer remembers that night
She no longer feels
She no longer lives
All that she sees now is light
