She Said

She said, Can we go for our walk?
She said, our.
It's not just a walk.
It became our walk.
It became our thing that we do.
Our walk.

She said, 'I love you' and I said it back.
Maybe she meant it
Or maybe she didn't.
That doesn't matter,
I said it and I meant it.
And that's all that matters to me.
But, she said it first?

I want to ask, Did you mean it?
Did you mean it when you said 'I love you'?
But not knowing is better.
I'm afraid of her answer.
I want to say, I meant it when I said 'I love you too'.
But not telling her is better.
I'm afraid of her reaction.

She said, without me saying anything, I meant it
And I know you meant it too.
