She Smiles

She smiles
The world's happy
No tears, only rainbows
Laughter fills her lungs and explodes into the room
Her smile contagious
It spreads like an infectious disease
Deep down inside though, she's breaking
Her heart unfixable
Bandages holding each piece together
Behind her smile is a hurting heart
"How" she asks, "can I be fixed?"
How is not the question
You don't search for happiness
Happiness finds you
It will come
Wait, be patient
Soon enough, you will smile a real smile

This Poems Story

I write because that's the time when I can totally clear my head and think of all my feelings. Whatever I'm feeling, I'll just sit there and write it all out. I pour my heart and soul into each poem. For me writing is like medicine, it gives me a chance to mend all my broken thoughts and feelings. I hope one day to inspire others.
