She Touches Me

With a smile that can light up the evening sky
and a soft hand that can melt the snow capped
Alps
Her kind words are like the doves tender song
song
After a hard days work I drag myself home
embraced by her outstretched arms
Her eyes shimmer like the dew which glisten
from apricot
a kiss on my sweat ridden forehead makes me
feel like a knight of Camelot
A hot meal and warm bath awaits me by care
of my dear beloved
A down trodden fella like oneself how did
I ever deserve?
The only thing I can think of, this must
Be a gift from above
