She was

She was the vibrancy that could light up this world
A delicate rose not yet aware of the thorns
Screaming to be heard
but diminished to a whisper
You heard her

She was rain
Beautiful in its simplicity
At least that is what you want to believe
When rain is violently pouring down her cheeks
With the sharp intake of stifled breath

She was everything
But nothing at all
A picture frame with nothing to see
except a phantom of who she used to be
A rose without its petals
The world in black and white
In this you took delite

She was a red solo cup
Made by man for man
souly existing for your need and pleasure
Disposable
you made her believe this

She was love
Not a synthetic version
Until you
You heard her
you hurt her
