She\'ll always return

The early abandoning sun
sneaks almost motionless beyond the horizon
of sparkling waters and hazy iridescent skies,
trying to conceal herself
beyond the silhouetted banyan trees
and flocks of migrating geese
for others to envy.

the lingering light; a promise of her return
leaves a surrealistic vision,
an intense insight into the inspiration of life,
giving the soul an inner peace
and the strength to face
the falling darkness of her farewell.

This Poems Story

There are so many ways to describe a sunset, as they are never the same. They affect each of us differently. Each day is a new experience. So we can both be looking at the same sunset and get a totally different feeling, emotion and interpretation of the event.
