Shepherded with lies.

I trusted you with my secrets
Giving my knowledge and trust in you.
I played to your tune.
Like a sheep to it's shepherd.
But your reward for my trust,
Was that I felt your blade's thrust.
Wounding my back.
Taking me to my knees with a surging pain inside.
As you stood tall and smiling with pride.
I was shepherded by your lies.
You not listening to my pained cries.
Now, I am free.
The words that you spoke no longer can hurt me.
