She’s Gone

It happened one day about five summers ago
I had no idea when I left I'd never see her again
After that day I never felt so low
But i still see her face now and then

Until she died I never felt so lost
And I miss her more and more each day
To bring her back I'd pay any cost
It's so sad to think in the ground she must lay

Sometimes I just don't know what do
So alone I sit and start to cry
Hoping that one day she'll be in my view
And when she's not I just want to die

Even in the back of my head her voice is still loud
And that reminds me to live and make her proud
