Shift

I watch my reflection fade, into the glass
The shattered pieces stream, across my face
Sparks illuminate the darkness, behind the mirror
Beacons of light synapse, through the void
Leap into the fray, the stars guiding the descent
Embracing their searing heat

Rivulets of blood steam, into the air
Raised from fire, the sky turns red
Distilled with highlights of grief
Lightning rages, through the core
Thunder incubates, our clouded shore
From the ashes, born anew
