Shifting Sands

Shifting sands beaneah my feet. Untraveled roads where
Do they lead?
To an empty shore out by the sea?
Where seagulls soar in harmony?
Or to a mountain top so high?
Where only eagle,s dare to fly?
Or down in the valley with clear cool springs?
Where daffodils dance as blue birds sing?
Or to a rainbow of yellows blue's and Gold,s
Embracing a mansion built so long ago.
A sunny place where children play.
Forgotten one,s from yesterday?
A journey that's so far away,
No one return,s each one must stay?
If I should go and your left behind
I,ll be waiting there until it becomes your time.
