Shiver Serpent Sliver

shiver serpent sliver
road
mist-sheen;
day-dream deemed to
deliver,
give her
sun-shimmer wing-mirrors
salt-coated sea-hair,
sand-soaked sun-stare,
sun-air
pair of sun-glasses, she passes
California palm trees,
palms out windows,
bending
blending
blent
lending boasts
to most ghost-town coastlines
miming time sighing, pining
for that
swollen ocean piano""grow slow
low lull;
shadow-bruised arms
splitting sunsets like mountains.
