Short & Bitter

A glacier, massive down below
What's hidden there, you may never know
A hand on my shoulder or an unwanted embrace
A feeling you won't see on my face
Smiley and friendly isn't easy to express
For, when I first meet you there's a tightness in my chest
You don't know what I've been through
You only understand your view
So, judge me if you must, I dont care
Because much like my family you weren't there
