Showering with depression

Standing numbly in the shower
The water feels like bullets falling from the sky
As I sluggishly reach for the soap I'm reminded what an anchor is
The small amount of water that pools around my feet feels like pebbles
This shower is the second most comfortable thing in my life
I’m comforted in the pain it rains down on my because at least I get to feel something
This nothing that I feel can only be washed away by bullets
My feet firmly planted in the pebbles as I
hold the anchor and let the shower reek havoc on my body
