Shut In But Not Shut Out

The way we look at the World now in 2020 is horrific,
A deadly virus crept in and took loved ones, friends,
and family too, but let me be more specific,
The Coronavirus Pandemic is horrendous and this year,
Has not felt like we are making America Great again,
With the loss of jobs, lives, security and fear,
Takes the cake,
But we have not lost despite all that has happened,
We are more than Conquerors through Jesus Christ,
So, we must keep on fighting.
We must protect ourselves and realize,
That fear is just a state of mine,
But our strength gives us power,
Each time.
Now we might be shut in,
But we are not shut out,
Look around,
And give your family and loved ones a big hug,
Even if it is from a distance show them some love,
Because one day soon 2020 will be out of here,
And peace shall be restored,
Shut in but not shut out,
Keep your trust in the Lord.
