Sidelines

One in a million wasn't made to scare you
It was made to say you can
Once in a lifetime isn't saying don't try
It means give it a chance
Nobody was born with wings
But everyone can fly
Even if you don't think you'll make it
I dare you to give it a try

I don't want to live on the side lines
Of someone else's game
I don't want to drink from the cup
Placed right in front of me
You get so much more if you
Live like a blazing fire
But I don't want to burn
On the sidelines

Come at life like you're never going to give up
And you'll learn that you can last
Break every record like it's no big deal
With your hands behind your back
Give up who they claim you are
You'll find who you might be
Make up all your own rules
And challenge destiny
