Silence, drowning in my own thoughts

sinking to the bottom silently,

the light blue water helps unravel all the knots

of worry and doubts. I have privacy

being underwater, everything washed away

opening my eyes, feeling the sting.

it’s okay because of the sun whispering hey!

they're yelling at me up above but I don’t do anything,

it's getting a little hard to breathe.

my lungs are failing beneath

the light blue water, a ringing in my ear.

the dark clouding my vision, sounds of sirens

welcoming the black I let the water in...silence
