Silence

The day is dark,
The night is gone,
The birds have no song.
There are no barks,
Or meows, nor evil growls.
There is silence.

No rain, no thunder,
No lightning, I wonder.
There's no I love you,
I hate you,
Not even an excuse you.
Just silence.

Silence no one can think of
Without some type of noise to shove.
No laughter.
What does it matter?
There's silence.

Death, pain, hurt.
You can smell the dirt.
Every turn,
Every burn,
We find some way to die
Despite why. Silence.
