Silence

I sought thee out, oh silent time
Forgive please my interruption
I shall make brief this interlude
Of pollution and corruption

Amidst the trees flow melodies
Sung by winds of Mother Nature
For every breeze makes sounds that please
Disrupting your Nomenclature

I only ask that I may know
Do all forms of sound offend thee
Or could it be that much like me
Silence enjoys nature’s entrées
