Silence of my loneliness

The silence of my loneliness
is as loud as the noises of the freeways
My heart aches to be held to be touched

The nights shadows caresses a cloak of darkness into
 the skies eery galaxy

Longing for some type of warmth and humanness
My soul sings a melody of sadness
Wanting to experience a full life of true happiness

Praying to be granted the privilege
to honor and experience true holiness and union
with another, I continue to cry out from the
depths of my soul

Will it be today?, tomorrow?, Where are you my
beloved?

Nowhere to be found or in sight
I cry out to the heavens with all my heart
With every fiber of my being I hold on
to faith to hope and trust with all my might
