Silence Stood Still

The look was - hallow,
A specific goal wandered the mind, a
Shifting - goal
The craving for more had overpowered,
Teared one to the small, building blocks of life.

The gaze followed,
A single glance stirred,
A split-second remembrance.
Eyes of
Regret.
Silence stood still.
Then it was concluded.
