Silent Doubt

My shallow insecurities take motion
pouring over into doubt the quake of my sins for I am
nor will I be I forgave the fear that controls me
taken aback by the strength I was bestowed
only to rebuke the unlawful thoughts against
my own flesh for life in all its tiring ways will i
ever understand what I am freely I was known before
the world began before my feet touched the very ground
that crumbles beneath surely I stand firm grasping the
weight of the falling world as I reclaim the truth not
only told by those before me but those to come after
for I am more than the blood of my elders I am the
fork in the path of tradition I am the leader of new
but a learner of old although temptation shall follow
I will be a slave to such no more freely will I
manifest my riches without the doubt of man
and the doubt of self but the guarantee of confidence
within me.
