Silent Embrace

Staring down at a photograph
of your haunting image,
Death wraps around you
like a silent embrace,
Taking away your sight of life,
shedding the tears of sorrow,
shattering your heart like broken glass.
Darkness surrounds you,
as you fell the silent embrace of death,
Fighting away the demons that puncture your skin,
dying without a last goodbye.
"Remember me," you said,
as your soared down into nothingness.
