Silver Drops

When the infinite blue turns gray,
And the sky cries as the clouds collide;
It indicates your coming,
A light breeze following all the way.

The earthworms poke out of the ground,
The trees bathe, so do the crops;
And as you fall from the sky,
Insects hide to escape your Silver Drops.

The farmers await your arrival,
Oh rain! You come and wet their fields;
You help them earn their survival,
'Cause your touch blesses them with their yield.

How lovely is your water from the sky!
'Tis wine for lovers that showers love;
Oh how I love the kisses of your droplets!
Which you pour on me from up above.

This Poems Story

I wrote this poem during the summer of 2016.. Back then, there was very less rainfall, which caused a lot of problems to the livestock in my place..
