silver lining

Her hands are shaky, her heart is so pure
He’s kept this up, without a cure
She loves him dearly and prays every night
His hands are tied, to numb to fight
Her life conveys faith, with family by her side
He struggles with an addiction, he cannot hide
She found the strength to give him a choice
So God I pray he hears her voice
His last chance once and for all
So God I pray he will not fall.
She has not one tear left to spare
Set down the bottle it’s time care.
It’s a fight of lifetime no doubt in mind
It’s the demons within he must find
With a family so sacred to help him fight
A silver lining awaits to shed a new light.
