Silver Steed

I saw a silver streak fly high,
Hoofprints, dancing in the sky.
I asked, "Lord, pray, tell me why?"
He said, "You shall testify."

Eating shadow's misty dew,
I asked, "Lord, what shall I do?"
He said, handing me the reins,
"In your hands freedom remains."

"On this silver steed you'll ride.
I'll remain here at your side.
Saddle, bridle, bit and you,
Silver knows just what to do."

He arrived with silver stealth.
Lord was saying, "Trust yourself."
Out of darkness's rising tide,
Lord and Savior by my side,

I'm elated. liberated,
Life without Him-separated.
He has sent His steed for me.
He provided sanctity.

Far too long I've been in pieces.
I shall give my soul to Jesus.
Doubt has parted, like the ocean.
He has my complete devotion.
