Simpified

Love me when I run
Love me when I hide
Take your time
Hurry up, take me away
I'll come back in the future
I'll come back with a cure
I'll come back with some empathy
For now I'll lay here in waste

Time has taught me a lesson
Of when its safe to say
That life goes on...
And tears will no longer fall
I stand alone above it all
I stand alone have no sympathy
For now I'll sit here and listen

Your every word is short and sweet
You must be simple and intelligent
For I am only dumbfounded
By the cause you hold secure
Love hurts to pour out your heart
When nothing is ever pure
What do you know that I don't know

Do you know that I love you
For being so simple
Work day by day...
A single mom with no time
No time to say how she feels
Does she even know me for real
Or is it always what other people say
