Singular or Plural?

Singular or plural
Sometimes grabs my focus,
And I'd rather be an opera
Than one lone minor opus.

I'd rather there were two spaghetti,
What's-his-name and me.
One little strand upon a plate
Is spaghetto misery!

One tiny weak confetto
Drifting to the floor
Does not evoke the kind of joy
Confetti has in store!

I think upon a moose or fish
Where grammar vague must reign.
When singlehood gets pluralized,
Differentiate the twain!

I wonder what the future holds-
A change to "us" from "me"?
Will I join my niblings' parents
As my "I" becomes a "We"?
