Sire

I wonder why tonight the sky is on fire,
It seems as if the stars and the moon have retired.
Maybe these heavenly bodies have worn an attire?
A black and plain veil of gravely satire.
Could it be because of those choices which desired,
A war within which thousands of souls would expire.
All such crucifixion just because of a feud -
Between two empires?
And if it is because of such choices which required,
The brave and valorous soldiers of our nation -
Who are admired.
Then I would want my whole nation to aspire.
The faith and belief in our soldiers and inspire -
Them even when their guns have backfired.
Because such times are the folly straits of dire.
So, today, when I saw the night sky so wired,
I knew that we had lost some of our sapphires.
And I know that the sky is dark but it's not a liar,
Because I never took these mindless bodies from above -
To be such a crier.
