Sister, Sister


Ah sister, sister, betrayal has clotted and come
For it leaks in the leek in your eye and the line of your thumb
It swells like a ripe Saturday cyst
Painful, disdainful
Another tribulation written on a brown paper list
With my scribbled, dribbled writing
Beneath a rusted cob chandelier with honey dew lighting
Ah sister, sister one's presence has never been so detested
As the mould in your breast and maggots to whom has infested
To me you are nothing more
Than an arrhythmic bore
As to what once made my heart inflamed and sore

You esteem a number over my word
Your opprobrium of me is a custard curd
When you degraded me
Shaded me
Jaded me

Sister, sister, no to not wish you well
As a matter of myth, I'd rather you dwell in a spiralling well
With no contact, no hope
Now that would indeed be swell...
