Sisters

You came into my life
that one autumn day
I'm always terrified
when you wield a knife

We bonded as one
and grew closer together
always playing in the sun
or any kind of weather

I call you my best friend
hoping to not have a bitter end
since we are always joined
at the hip
there is no way we will trip

You are my sister
the one that I turn to
when I have a tongue twister
or something is due
