Size doesn’t matter

Size doesn’t matter

Big or small,
Short or tall,
Size is not all,
Every time size doesn’t count,
The one who gives his best,
Finally surmounts.

Size doesn’t matter,
WE just see,
What makes us feel better?
What fulfils your thrust?
Water from bottle or sea,
Costly coffee or simple tea,
Without thinking about the size of the source,
We just get complete the task so that later we don’t remorse,
Who serves the purpose counts?
Sometimes a small rat can set the lion free,
We get the same shadow from all trees,
Last attempt or the first,
Who counts?
We just see when we clear the test,
This world salutes you when you reach the top,
Without thinking of how many attempts you made,
Just with results, your life they rate.
You only know, how you reached the top,
While others were sleeping,
You kept on striving and did not stop.

To be big is not always right,
The candle may differ in height,
But they yield same light.
It is not your position,
But commitments and resolutions, yours or mine,
That finally count and makes one shine.
